Student Media State
The Student Media State Project is an 10 year plan that undertakes to advance Victoria’s overall quality of education for media, communications and the arts. The key focus of this project is to making media the core product of any area studied including business, education and other areas. The project aims to improve the quality of what is being offered in the state. Partially commercialising student media to encourage active competition with one another. Victoria will be the world leader in Student Media in education, community development, economical income and industry connections.
Fresh Student Media offers a range of Education Services to schools, institutions and private education providers in a range of media centred products.
Our products include short courses, Victorian Curriculum courses, industry on-site training and community programs.
Student Media City
The Student Media City Project is an 10 year action plan that establishes Fresh Student Media and the Student Media industry to make Hobsons Bay the home of Student Media in Victoria.
The key focus of this project is to making quality of media, communications and the arts for the community. The project aims to make media the core product of different areas including business, education and other areas. The project aims to improve the quality of what is being offered in the community and making the community stand out in state.
Fresh Student Media is a proud member of the Southern Community Media Association (SCMA) one of the representative body of Community Media in Australia.
The objectives of the association are to "actively promote and support the community broadcast sector through training opportunities, workshops, station support, problem-solving, equipment loan data base and conferences. Increased public awareness of the Community Broadcast sector comes via a high profile promotion and involvement in not for profit community-based initiatives."
